Joseph Blackburn

Joseph Blackburn brings a lifetime of service and experience to his role as Broker-in-Charge with ZT Hawaii. Involved in real estate sales since 1983 and licensed as a Broker since 2008, Joseph is highly knowledgeable in every aspect of real estate across Maui County.

 

Before transitioning full-time into real estate, Joseph dedicated decades of service to the community: he is a retired Fire Rescue Captain with the County of Maui Fire Department, a former Safety Director for Hawaiian Electric on Maui, and a former Police Officer II with the Maui Police Department.

 

Joseph is married to Shirley Lokelani (Kaiahua) Blackburn. Together they have raised three children who continue the family’s tradition of service — two sons serving as Maui Fire Captains and a daughter working in disaster recovery.

 

Beyond real estate, Joseph has invested in Maui’s youth for over 40 years as a basketball coach at multiple levels. He also enjoys farming, diving, and staying active through CrossFit.
